What you will find today is what goals of EQuilibrium Initiative are and how it will better Canadian Housing for the future.
The first goal is to develop a clear vision and approach to creating and promoting healthy housing with a low environmental impact. This is to help keep a greener environment where we all know we can use.
The second goal is to build the capacity of Canada’s home builders, developers, architects and engineers to design and build EQuilibrium home and communities across the country. This promotes goal one further as to help create healthy housing while having it across Canada making the world a greener place.
Goal three consists of educating consumers on the benefits of owning an EQuilibrium home and achieve market acceptance of EQuilibrium homes and sustainable communities. It does not make sense building these types of homes if consumers are unaware of what they are and their purpose. For what, the homes that are being built now , upon completion, there will be tours for the public to learn the houses’ features and what it does to help them.
Lastly goal four is to enhance Canada’s domestic and international leadership and businesses opportunities in sustainable housing design, construction services and technologies.
EQuilibrium housing represents a significant step into reducing energy consumption in Canada’s housing sector, while supporting the growing need for renewable energy sources. This will help Canada achieve a clean and healthy environment.
With the amount of support, EQuilibrium will be able to ensure that the future success of Canada’s housing industry.
