Are You Going to Join?
That’s the question I was thinking of when I was asked by my brother in law ”How’s Real Estate up their?” from down in New York… He’s thinking of purchasing Real Estate here in Canada. I couldn’t lie to him and tell him we’re going through a tough time with the recession.
I had to tell him the truth…
As the Headline in our newsletter reads:
“STRONG SALES INCREASES CONTINUE IN AUGUST”.
Sales have increased 27% in the last year from August of last year, in actual numbers that means 8035 sales, the average price from last year in August has increased by 6% which equals $387,921.00. So I can’t really honestly tell anybody that Real Estate is “hurting”! We are actually doing extremely well, now imagine if the world wasn’t experiencing a recession??? I believe the numbers would be a whole lot nicer for sellers!!! But it’s actually keeping the lid on our Canadian market… So is it a good time to buy in Canada right now?
I say YES!!!
Up to date in 2009 58,421 sales have been transacted which is up 2% from the first 8 months of 2008…
So again my question is “ARE YOU GOING TO JOIN???”
I would encourage you to join us and everybody who is trading in Toronto Real Estate, don’t wait until the rates go up. It’s interesting that a few people I’ve spoken to say they’re waiting until prices “go down”, these people have been waiting for over a year now, and prices have… Yes increased and not only have they lost money, but they haven’t made any money either! Can you tell me if they are in a better position than they were in last year???
Some people on the other hand took a leap and trusted me. I’m in touch with them and before I sat down to write this blog, I was actually speaking to a client and telling him the good news! I’m happy to say that “The family thinks I’m the greatest!”. The truth is that I didn’t do anything, they actually did all the work and took the leap of faith, I just guided them in the right direction.
Think about it if I had guided them in the wrong direction, I would have been hurt along with them…
No human being gains unless another human being gains! We’re all in this together.
