As the old saying goes: Knowledge = Power!!!
I agree with that phrase partially, however I believe it is missing the last and most important part…
Knowledge is the first part of attaining power, and the second part is implementing the knowledge that you have just received!
I worked with children and youth for over 15 years in various settings in my career before starting my Real Estate Career. I could and did teach them a lot of information, I currently coach a soccer team and a Tyke football team. The reason I’m telling you this is because, as people we seem to think that when we get information we will get what we want.
I have learned that getting this information is all but half the process, and the second half is the most important part and actually gets us RESULTS! The second part is coaching the person that has just received information to actually implement the information.
How is this related to Real Estate? Once somebody has gotten information, it is the Real Estate Professional who is responsible for coaching YOU (The Client) towards making the choices that will get you to where you want to be in as timely a manner as possible, according to what you have expressed your needs to be in your initial meeting with The Real Estate Professional!
The reason why this coaching is the most important part is because people by nature are driven by their emotions. Our home is a very emotionally sensitive issue, as this is where we come to rest with our loved ones.
Qualified Real Estate Professionals are trained professionals who are equipped with the knowledge and support systems in place to ensure that you are guided through this process, resulting in you getting the most possible benefit at the end of the transaction.
