Alberta Arts Days is a three-day celebration of Alberta arts and culture that occur September 18th – 20th.
Alberta will be brimming with creative energy, in just about everywhere. Albertans everywhere will bring the spirit of Alberta to life.
The unveiling of the Alberta Arts Days program occurred in the Esplanade lobby; the theme is to Inspire and Create.
Resident of Medicine Hat or “Hatters” will be treated to spectacular events for three days with the opening reception on Saturday September 17th.
This will truly be an unforgettable experience; it will be an opportunity for everyone to unleash their creativity. It will allow everyone to pay homage to local talented artists.
Musical instruments you will see include an earth harp – the world’s longest stringed instrument, and a drum sphere which will grace the Esplanade lobby.
The instruments will encompass the audience at performances combining music with theatrics. This will give the audience a full interactive experience of music.
The City of Medicine Hay will be filled with giant musical instruments in the lobby and art history on the walls and corridor of the Esplanade, creating a surplus amount of creative energy.
One September 19th, in the evening there will be a main lobby performance combining these instruments of The Music, Architecture, Sonic, Sculpture (M.A.S.S.) Ensemble with the talents of the band. The band is incorporated of Paramedic and numerous other Alberta musicians.
The Alberta Arts Days will be a great event and should not be missed. To help everyone enjoy this event, there will be free City public transit on September 19th and you can enjoy it free of charge.
