Photography Tips to Draw in Buyers
While selling your house does require you to capitalize on curb appeal or the first impression your property conveys to potential buyers, you can capitalize on attracting potential buyers through photos posted in online listings.
Before a buyer will contact the agent about a specific home, they will search homes and go through every photo to find what appeals to them. Having poor photos will only hinder the selling of the property.
For this reason I have come up with several tips to help you improve your photography to ultimately attract more buyers.
1. Light is Key
When taking exterior shots, it is necessary to shoot in the middle of the day. This will allow to the sun to be giving off the right amount of light and the sky will be clear blue.
With interior shots you have to turn on all the lights and use flash. Flash will add in the necessary colors and fill the shadows, thus making the room look brighter.
2. Take Plenty of Photos
Buyers love to see more photos than just a few rooms and the front of the house. They want to get the general idea of what the house may look like, and from there decide whether to visit it or not.
3. Clear the Clutter
Get a clear shot of any area of your house by getting rid of any clutter. Look at it from a buyer’s perspective; they would not be attracted to a house that looks like it has no space.
By following these few tips you are ensuring that your house will look great online, and will have a higher chance of attracting potential buyers.
