In order to raise money for the Providence Place Resident Council Park Development Fund, a local band – Manna, will be performing at the Mae Wilson Theatre on October 15th.
Tickets to the shows will be $15, and can be purchased at the Moose Jaw Cultural Centre Box Office or the Providence Place front desk.
One of the project’s organizers, Diane Heartell notes that the proceeds from the show will be going to the creation of a healing garden and park development.
This project is special to the Providence Place and the fundraising is highly anticipated. Heartell and other committee members unveiled the gardens new design in a presentation during the last meeting.
The new garden will not only be an asset to the Providence Place, but also to the surrounding community.
With the design already made, one of the remaining requirements is the funds in order to begin development. Hopefully the performance will help raise enough money in order to get this project started.
If you can make it out to the show, then do so, proceeds go to a good cause and it is always good to give back to your community.
