4. Dry Area
Let the area dry completely using any fans, dehumidifiers and ventilation.
5. Apply a Borate-based Detergent Solution
With this solution you are ensuring that the mold will not grow again in that area
6. Call a Professional
You can never be too safe, even when you think you have gotten rid of the mold, it may just come back to haunt you. Even if it is just for an inspection, you should call a professional just to have a once over on your house.
