There are plenty of ways to go green in your home, and today I will speak about cleaning supplies you can use that will allow you to keep the environment a little safer. It is a great alternative to buying the sprays available on your supermarket shelves.Here are three eco-friendly cleaning products that can help make your home shine.
For an All Purpose Cleaner, combine the following in a spray bottle:
• 1 cup white vinegar
• 1 cup of water
This solution is great to clean your kitchen counter and bathrooms. To get rid of stains that are extremely bad you just need to heat up the mixture in the microwave. Spray the warm solution on the stain and let it stand for 15 minutes, then scrub.
For a Wood Polish, combine the following in a bottle:
• 1 cup olive oil
• ½ cup of lemon juice
Simply mix well and pout a few drops on a rag. You just have to polish all your wood furniture and it will shine brilliantly.
The final cleaning product is a Window Cleaner, combine in a spray bottle the following:
• 1 tablespoon white vinegar
• 1 tablespoon lemon juice
• 1 cup of water
• 1 cup of rubbing alcohol
You can spray this solution to clean windows, mirrors and chromed surfaces. It works very well and you would not even realize it was homemade.
There three cleaning products are great and all the materials can be found right in your house. It beats using cleaning supplies that are mixed with different chemicals that only damage the environment.
